The Himachal Pradesh State Election Commission has officially announced the schedule for the 2026 Panchayati Raj elections, setting the stage for one of the largest grassroots democratic exercises in the state.
State Election Commissioner Anil Kumar Khachi released the detailed programme in Shimla on April 28, confirming that elections will be conducted in three phases across rural Himachal Pradesh.
