Final Budhwa Mangal Rituals for June 10: A Sacred Tuesday of Devotion

Published

on

The last and most auspicious Budhwa Mangal of the year falls on Tuesday, June 10, 2025. Also called Bada Mangal, this spiritual Tuesday is dedicated to Lord Hanuman, and is observed with immense devotion, especially in North India—particularly in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and parts of Madhya Pradesh.

🛕 What is Budhwa Mangal?

Budhwa Mangal is a sequence of Tuesdays observed during the Hindu month of Jyeshtha, usually in May–June. Devotees believe that Lord Hanuman appeared before Tulsidas on one such Tuesday, blessing him to complete the Ramcharitmanas. As a result, the day is marked by fasting, chanting the Hanuman Chalisa, visiting temples, and organizing communal meals (bhandaras).

🌅 June 10: The Final Tuesday of Devotion

This year’s final Budhwa Mangal sees temples preparing for massive footfall:

  • Temples in Lucknow, such as the famous Hanuman Setu Mandir and Aliganj Hanuman Mandir, expect lakhs of devotees.
  • Special aartis and sundarkaand recitations will take place from early morning till midnight.
  • Local volunteers have been deployed to manage crowds and distribute prasadam to fasting devotees.

🙏 Rituals to Follow on Budhwa Mangal:

  1. Early Morning Bath – Preferably before sunrise.
  2. Visit Hanuman Temples – Offer sindoor, boondi laddoos, and red flowers.
  3. Chanting – Recite Hanuman Chalisa, Bajrang Baan, or Sunderkand.
  4. Fasting – Many observe nirjala (waterless) or phalahar (fruit-only) fasts.
  5. Charity (daan) – Donating food, clothes, or supporting temple bhandaras earns spiritual merit.

✨ Significance of the Final Tuesday

The last Budhwa Mangal is considered the most powerful of the series, as it symbolizes the culmination of one’s spiritual discipline and devotion. It’s said that wishes made on this day with a pure heart are blessed by Bajrangbali himself.

Kareena Kapoor’s Yellow Kaftan Brightens Mumbai Monsoons

Published

on

As the Mumbai monsoon clouds roll in, Bollywood diva Kareena Kapoor Khan is setting a fresh trend with her fashion-forward yet comfort-driven choice—a vibrant yellow kaftan that’s turning heads and lifting moods.

Effortless Elegance Amidst Rainy Chaos

The monsoon season often puts a damper on fashion, but not for Kareena. Spotted in the city recently, she wore a sunshine-yellow kaftan featuring minimalistic prints and breezy fabric—perfect for the humid, unpredictable weather.

Kaftans are known for their versatility and comfort, but Kareena’s choice proves they can also be incredibly chic. With minimal makeup, sleek hair, and oversized sunglasses, she elevated a simple look into a bold monsoon fashion statement.

Why the Yellow Kaftan Works

Kareena’s look blends form and function—exactly what Mumbai’s rainy months demand. Here’s why her kaftan works:

  • Bold Color: Yellow is known to uplift mood, countering the gloominess of rainy days.
  • Free-flowing Silhouette: Offers comfort and ventilation in muggy weather.
  • Minimalist Styling: Lets the outfit shine without overwhelming accessories.

A Lesson in Monsoon Dressing

Kareena Kapoor has long been a style icon, but this outfit sends a strong message: fashion doesn’t have to be fussy to be fabulous. In fact, comfort can be the new couture. Her yellow kaftan is now being hailed as a must-have for the monsoon wardrobe—proving that a pop of color and the right cut can revolutionize seasonal fashion.

Get the Look

Want to channel your inner Kareena this season? Look for:

  • Lightweight cotton or georgette kaftans
  • Solid, uplifting hues like yellow, tangerine, or sky blue
  • Pair with flat sandals and statement sunglasses
